The street Via Matoyianni is probably the most well-known and lively street in Mykonos, filled with boutiques and shops where you can browse big brand names and exclusive designer labels, antiques, interior decoration, art, jewellery and accessories – a comprehensive paradise for retail therapy, and a great place to try
some of the local gastronomic delights or enjoy a few drinks later in the evening. The beauty of its white buildings is off-set by the year-round floral displays and traditional blue balconies, and if you venture off the main road into the side streets, you can wander amongst the true essence of the island.
