The Capulet House

Many lovers have been drawn to Verona by the story of Romeo and Juliet, and the house that was the inspiration for the home of the fictional Capulet family. Shakespeare chose the city and this particular scenic balcony to set one of the most dramatic love stories in history, and Juliet’s house receives over 8,000 love

letters every year, written to Juliet herself and answered by a team of volunteers. There is a bronze statue of Juliet by Italian sculpture Nereo Constantini in the patio, and legend tells that if you touch her right breast, you will either be forever lucky in love, or you will return to Verona. Which one will it be for you?
