My 3 favourite spots for brunch in Nantes

Fancy a delicious brunch in a cool setting? Here are my 3 favourite spots for brunch in Nantes. There’s something for everyone and every budget. They’re all in the city centre and have a terrace – but have great interiors which you can enjoy on rainy days!

Le Grand Méchant Nous

A low-key restaurant with a hidden terrace, delicious food and impeccable service: that’s what you can expect from a Sunday brunch at Le Grand Méchant Nous! What’s more, it’s great value – what more could you want?!

Sundays, €18.50

Papy Mougeot

A traditional brasserie which offers an incredibly generous brunch – that’s Papy Mougeot! Head there on a Sunday and enjoy a delicious meal, surrounded by a gorgeous, old-fashioned interior. Ideal for anyone with a hearty appetite! Great cooking: simple, efficient and homemade. When the weather gets warmer, you’ll love its terrace – perfectly positioned to enjoy the sunshine.

Sundays, €22

The Shelter

Relive your childhood in this restaurant which is full of surprises. We love its retro-style and geeky interior – but once brunch is served, you’ll be entirely focused on your (generously filled) plate! Once you’ve enjoyed something sweet, it’s time for something savoury with a mixture of classic and original dishes, all of which are incredibly tasty.

Sundays, €19.50

Bonus: Tabl’o Gourmand offers brunch every day between 9am and 4pm with a range of options, whatever you’re in the mood for.
