By day, Kos’ Mylos Beach Bar is a musical beach-café in a converted windmill, with a games corner, tables and sun-loungers out on the sand. In August they usually host the local beach tennis competition. After dark the pace steadily ramps up with either live music or DJ sessions that go on until sunrise – most
notably at the full-moon parties from June to August. The current economic conditions mean there might not be so many big events this year, but thanks to loyal local patronage, Mylos is likely to survive as many town centre bars are forced to close down.
