Ask any local about nightlife in Venice, and the immediate response will undoubtedly be Campo Santa Margherita, the post-sunset party destination for local university students, and you can’t claim to have sampled the real essence of this city until you’ve had at least one spritz here.
As soon as the sun goes down, join the Venetians as they sip drinks at one of the tables of brand-new La Bagolada, a fun music café hosting frequent live gigs and serving light Mexican snacks. If you can’t find it, just follow your ears, it’s by far the loudest bar on the campo!
