Je n\u2019imaginais pas, quand je prenais mon go\u00fbter, petite, que ce biscuit \u00e9tait n\u00e9 et produit \u00e0\u00a0Nantes. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, quand j\u2019ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 quel point il \u00e9tait une star \u00e0 Nantes, je me suis rendu compte que je ne connaissais rien de son histoire. Tout droit sorti d\u2019une petite p\u00e2tisserie nantaise familiale en 1886, il est aujourd\u2019hui un succ\u00e8s industriel \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale. Rien que \u00e7a\u00a0! Alors que sa composition est d\u2019une simplicit\u00e9 d\u00e9concertante\u00a0: vous ne trouverez que de la farine, du lait, du beurre et du sucre.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019histoire commence en 1846, alors que Jean-Romain Lef\u00e8vre et Pauline-Isabelle Utile s\u2019installent \u00e0 Nantes pour y reprendre une p\u00e2tisserie, au num\u00e9ro 5 de la rue Boileau (aujourd\u2019hui transform\u00e9e en sc\u00e8ne nationale et centre culturel, le Lieu Unique). L\u2019enseigne devient rapidement \u00ab\u00a0Lef\u00e8vre Utile\u00a0\u00bb (LU). Leur fils, Louis Lef\u00e8vre-Utile, qui reprend l\u2019affaire 36 ans plus tard, d\u00e9cide de s\u2019inspirer de la forme du napperon de sa grand-m\u00e8re pour dessiner un biscuit. Et voil\u00e0, le v\u00e9ritable Petit-Beurre LU est n\u00e9\u00a0! Certains disent m\u00eame qu\u2019il n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 dessin\u00e9 par hasard\u00a0: il aurait quatre\u00a0coins pour quatre\u00a0saisons, 52\u00a0dents pour les 52\u00a0semaines de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e et 24<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>petits trous pour les 24<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>heures de la journ\u00e9e. Vous le saviez\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, plus de 9 000 tonnes de ce fameux biscuit sont produites chaque ann\u00e9e \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de Nantes.
