In fact, from May to November, the sea temperature rarely drops below 20\u00b0C, and reaches highs of around 27\u00b0C in August.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you fancy a dip, you&#8217;re spoiled for choice with a range of<strong> sandy<\/strong> and <strong>rocky beaches. It is a true natural swimming pool, lapped by crystal-clear blue waters, and is best seen in September and October once the bustle of the high season has died down.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/volare.volotea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/picture-4-lagon-bleu1-e1563280980417.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/volare.volotea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/picture-4-lagon-bleu1-e1563280980417.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"516\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9083\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/volare.volotea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/picture-4-lagon-bleu1-e1563280980417.jpg?resize=640%2C516&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Blue Lagoon<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Twelve of the archipelago&#8217;s sandy beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But Malta&#8217;s <strong>rocky beaches<\/strong> are also great for swimming. For example, Sliema&#8217;s waterfront is made up of flat rocks that make it very popular for swimming and sunbathing during the hot summer months. And one of the most beautiful rocky beaches, which you really mustn&#8217;t miss, is St Peter&#8217;s Pool in the south of Malta.
