Malaga<\/a> usually makes an immediate impression on the senses: the light over the Alcazaba, the bustle of the historic centre, grilled sardines by the sea, museums, terraces, and sunset strolls. Another interesting place to visit is the Molino de Papel beach near Maro<\/strong>. Less accessible than other beaches, it is therefore quieter and retains a more rugged feel. Here, the surroundings feel less domesticated, with ravines, vegetation, stones, ruins and the sea. The best way to experience the Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo is to get close to the sea. From land, the landscape is impressive; from the water, it reveals itself. Some excursions pass close to caves, small waterfalls and areas where the water is green or turquoise. Watchtowers and Mediterranean landscapes<\/h2>\n

The natural area’s appeal is not confined to the water. The cliffs are part of a Mediterranean landscape where history, geology and vegetation converge.
