This project, in collaboration with the Santander City Council, will offer a new way of approaching contemporary art and museum processes, opening its collections to the public and connecting the city with international art networks.<br \/>An ideal visit for those who enjoy discovering how the art of our time is preserved, researched and exhibited.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FARO Santander<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The iconic Pereda building, formerly the headquarters of Banco Santander, is reborn as <strong>FARO Santander, a centre dedicated to art, technology and innovation<\/strong> with an educational, environmental and social vocation. This project by Fundaci\u00f3n Banco Santander will transform one of the city\u2019s architectural symbols into a living and participatory space designed to inspire new forms of creativity and thought. The new space will allow visitors to enjoy more than 2,600 pieces that tell the story of Cantabria from Prehistory to the Middle Ages, with a modern and interactive museum design. An unmissable museum for families, school groups and travellers seeking to understand the origin of our history through art and archaeology.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La Lechera \u2013 Torrelavega<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few kilometres from the capital, the La Lechera project in Torrelavega is progressing to <strong>transform an old industrial complex<\/strong> from the late 19th century <strong>into a large artistic, cultural and exhibition space<\/strong>. Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) in 2020, it will be one of the most important heritage recovery projects in northern Spain and will establish the connection between Santander and Torrelavega around contemporary culture.
