Shakespeare chose the city and this particular scenic balcony to set one of the most dramatic love stories in history, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lonelyplanet.com\/italy\/the-veneto\/verona\/sights\/museum\/casa-di-giulietta\">Juliet\u2019s house<\/a> receives over 8,000 love <\/p>\n<p><\/br><\/p>\n<p>letters every year, written to Juliet herself and answered by a team of volunteers. There is a bronze statue of Juliet by Italian sculpture Nereo Constantini in the patio, and legend tells that if you touch her right breast, you will either be forever lucky in love, or you will return to Verona.
