The gothic styled main portal was damaged in an earthquake in 1667 and was restored in Baroque style.<\/p>\n<p> This monastery also has served as a pharmacy and hospital one can learn about the traditional remedies and cures as well as wander around among more than 70.000 books. Its 1200 original manuscripts make it into one of the most important libraries in the Europe.
