The Ritual, as it is known by the locals, has a long and distinguished history. It opened in 1970 and was an immediate success, quickly becoming one of Sardinia’s hottest night spots. It is also located in Baja Sardinia.
It is housed in a castle surrounded by rocks, olive trees and myrtles. Over the years the Ritual has become something of a landmark. It has hosted several international artists and received glowing write-ups by reviewers.
It’s definitely a place to spend at least one night, if only to see its unique interior decor. With a different vibe to that found at Phi Beach, the Ritual’s clientele is much more diverse with entrepreneurs, celebrities and holiday-makers all frequenting the venue.
Sottovento
The Sottovento is located 26 km from Olbia, in the heart of Porto Cervo, and has been one of the island’s hippest venues for over 40 years. It’s the ideal place for dinner overlooking the sea, or a night of dancing.
Its elegant restaurant opens at 8pm, while the dance floor is open from 11pm. Its unique details and magical location make Il Sottovento an essential night-spot for visitors to the Costa Smeralda.
